Adam Langton

Adam joined BMW in August 2015 as BMW's U.S. Energy Services Manager. Adam supports BMW's
efforts to develop controlled charging technologies and stationary storage applications. In his prior role,
Adam served as the lead analyst on electric vehicle policy for the California Public Utilities Commission.
In this role, he worked with the Governor's Office and a variety of state agencies to develop policies that
advanced electric vehicle adoption. He lead pioneering policy developments related to vehicle-grid
integration and authored CPUC's Vehicle-Grid Integration White Paper, a guiding document for the
Commission's policy in this area. Prior to joining CPUC, Adam served as a program analyst at the Office
of Management and Budget (OMB), where he advised Senior Management on budget development and regulatory implementation for the Department of
Transportation and other federal agencies. Adam has a graduate degree from UC-Berkeley's Goldman
School of Public Policy and an undergraduate degree from Boston College.
