Commercial/Utility Scale Solar Array Management
Abstract: We will present an innovative approach to the use of embedded instrumentation and web-based diagnostic services
that are designed to optimize the profitability of large solar electric sites.
We will start with an outline of today's solar site architectures and describe
long-term maintenance challenges and performance issues. We will then propose an approach and examine the underlying economics
of the approach from the site owner's perspective. Next we will overview our technology, products and services, as well as their
application to a 50 kW Beta Site, highlighting specific benefits. We will then compare competitive approaches in the marketplace
and comment on future customer needs and technology to address them.
