High-Temperature Hot Water (HTHW) Shutdown Schedule
May 2026
Each year, immediately following Commencement, our Campus Operations and Maintenance team conducts essential maintenance and repairs on the high-temperature hot water (HTHW) system. This system provides heat and hot water to numerous campus buildings, and a temporary shutdown is required to safely complete the necessary work.
This year’s HTHW maintenance will follow a three-phase schedule designed to restore service as efficiently and safely as possible, minimizing the impact on campus operations.
Phase 1: May 1 – May 22, 2026
- No interruption of service
Phase 2: May 22 (6:00 PM) – June 3, 2026
- Buildings affected: Please refer to the map for details
Phase 3: May 22 (6:00 PM) – June 12 (6:00 PM), 2026
- Buildings affected: Please refer to the map for details
