to the ethical and effective use of technology to meet the needs of our diverse student
Whether you're designing assignments, grappling with formative and summative assessment
techniques, or looking to design course-level assessments that accurately measure
the skills you are trying to teach, CELT has staff to help you navigate your choices.
Great teaching is a journey, and building up your assessment game is part of the path.
Technology-enabled active learning environments have been shown to improve student’s
cognitive outcomes in comparison to traditional learning environments (Shi, Yang,
& McCleod, 2019, Beichner et al., 2007). Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs) feature
modular furniture and expanded AV equipment that allows for multiple device connectivity
and collaboration-centered equipment.
CELT provides departmental, program, and individual support as you develop or redesign
