Equipment for Loan

Technology For Your Teaching

If you have the vision, we have the technology. Faculty and staff  can request portable equipment for classroom instructional purposes from our Service Counter location in the Javits Lecture Center. Some of equipment includes:

  • clicker devices and clicker kits
  • computers
  • conferencing cameras
  • collaboration units
  • LCD projectors
  • digital players
  • digital recorders
  • audio players
  • audio recorders
  • microphones
  • P/A systems
  • slide advancers
  • sports action cameras
  • wireless display devices
  • cables, tripods, and other accessories

Equipment is loaned on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to availability, but priority is given to classroom instruction. Currently, only the Service Counter at the Javits Lecture Center provides check-out services for equipment. Instructors teaching within the Health Science Center or Frey Hall can request presentation equipment from their respective service counters.

We Have Chalk and Dry-erase Markers, Too!

All General Assignment Classrooms are stocked prior to the beginning of the semester, and then proactively at regular intervals during the semester. Classrooms supplies consist of black markers, dry-erase markers, and cleaning supplies for whiteboard-equipped classrooms, and white chalk and erasers for blackboard-equipped classrooms.

Instructors can request a restocking of specific rooms or stop by any of the Audio Visual Service Counters for supplies.

Not Sure How to Use a Device? We'll Show You How!

You can schedule a training session for any of our supported equipment by contacting one of our Service Counter locations. Whether you need a quick tutorial for a digital camera, or an overview of various conferencing hardware, we are here to help you in whatever way we can.
