The office of Budget, Financial Planning & Analysis serves as a trusted advisor and
partner to Stony Brook University's many academic and administrative units. Collaboratively,
our team coordinates SBU's all-funds budget, and provides financial and fiscal planning
resources that support the University's mission of enabling the most effective education,
research and healthcare.Â

Prioritized Funding for Underbudgeted Initiatives
There is a small amount of fiscal (one-time) funding that will be used as a Prioritized
Funding for Unbudgeted Initiatives (PFUI) for emergency, time-sensitive requests.
