7.  Six additional upper division (300 level or above) courses.  At most, two (2) of the six (6) courses may be counted as electives from the following courses:  AMS 475, AMS 476, AMS 487, non-AMS upper division mathematically-oriented courses.  For example, Non-AMS courses may include some engineering, MAT, PHY, CSE as well as ECO and BUS courses, such as ECO 303 & ECO 305 (together); ECO 321; ECO 348; BUS 355.  Be sure to check with the AMS Department if the non-AMS course you select will satisfy an AMS requirement.
