"Get Your Rec On" Walter J. Hawrys Campus Recreation Center
The Stony Brook University Alumni Association has arranged for discounted rates on alumni memberships at the 85,000-square-foot facility opened in October 2012, which includes a three-court gymnasium; three fitness studios; nearly 17,000 square feet of combined free-weight, fitness, cardio and stretching space, and a 1/10 mile track.
Alumni membership includes use of the fitness equipment, indoor track, and participation in informal open recreation and educational workshops.

Simply present your Alumni Association card at the Library Desk for access.
Access to library databases is available via Stony Brook University computers only. Some restrictions apply concerning databases and Interlibrary Loan.
School of Professional Development
Stony Brook University’s School of Professional Development (SPD) offers 26 graduate degree and certificate programs and an array of new, innovative micro-credentials in a variety of face-to-face and online formats. As a benefit to alumni, SPD will waive the graduate student application fee. In addition, alumni can receive a 10% discount on any Career Development (non-credit) offerings.
