When Montauk lost its only pharmacy, the community lost an essential lifeline. Frank Calvo stepped up to change that.

With guidance from the Long Island SBDC at Stony Brook, Frank opened Montauk Chemists—restoring access to healthcare, creating local jobs, and revitalizing the town’s quality of life. Frank brought the whole community together to celebrate being named the NYSBDC Rural Business of the Year!
