
Robert Micera is a human resources executive, change management and lean business process improvement leader, currently head of HR for the US at IVI RMA Global. Previously senior HR director leading employee relations and HR business partners for a leading healthcare organization in New York.
I have been CHRO and held senior HR leadership positions within professional services, human capital management, and financial services with populations ranging from 200 to 60,000+ employees. I am seasoned in all HR areas, including employee relations/engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, transformation, and change management. I have led direct reports within all HR functions and large local/global enterprise-wide transformational project teams.
My executive-level HR business partners have included professional services partners/leaders, IT, operations, client experience, sales, corporate strategy/M&A, continuous improvement, finance, cyber, and physical security, marketing, client communications, fulfillment/distribution, and procurement. I am a strategic entrepreneurial leader and strong presenter. I have presented at annual SHRM conferences and regional HR conferences and authored a book, "Right To The Point", The RDM Employer of Choice Model, featured at the SHRM Leadership Conference. In addition to my corporate HR career, I am also an adjunct professor at Seton Hall and Stony Brook Universities' graduate and undergraduate programs in I/O Psychology and HR Mgmt/Labor Relations.
I have an entrepreneurial mindset within my HR career and as an individual. I established and operate a real estate investment and property management business, and I am the artist and creator of UNITYMOVE LLC, a fashion company dedicated to driving the message of unity, diversity, and individuality. I speak Spanish and Italian at an intermediate level. My professional affiliations areas as follows: executive board and past-president for the Society of Human Resources Management Morris County New Jersey Chapter. Additional professional and civic affiliations have been previous treasurer and president-elect of the SHRM Long Island Chapter, HR Advisory Board member for Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities (ACLD), Committee member for the National Association of Mothers' Centers (NAMC), and member of The Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).
