Catherine Farrell

Catherine Farrell has more than 35 years of experience in education, labor-relations, leadership and organizational development. She is currently a lecturer in the School of Professional Development at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Previously, Catherine Farrell was a director and advocate for New York State United Teachers. She was an investigator and compliance officer for workplace harassment. In addition she helped organize the first women’s leadership task force within the organization.
Catherine has facilitated transformational leadership, leadership development, community coalition, conflict resolution and other workshops for up and coming leaders.
She worked with the American Cancer Society for over 10 years. Even serving as president of the board of advisors for several years. She also devoted time to the Make A Wish Foundation. Currently, she volunteers at the Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach in their after school program.
