Biography
Antwan "Amadeus" Thompson is a multi-platinum record producer and CEO of Platinum Boy Music, Inc. He is the
Music Director and Tour Drummer for Trey Songz and has produced some of the biggest
names in hip hop and pop music, including Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Justin
Bieber, Talib Kweli, Tyga, and Keyshia Cole, among others. In 2015, Thompson and his
Platinum Boy team launched the Music 101 College Tour to educate students on the ins
and outs of the music business, part of Platinum Boy Music’s mission to educate, empower,
inspire and transform young minds. Thompson is a motivational speaker on college campuses
across the country. In September 2016 he conducted a seminar on the music business
at Stony Brook University’s UNITI Cultural Center.
