EWC Schedules

Instructors: You must request Electronic Writing Classroom time with this online EWC request form (please consult the calendars, below, before requesting a time). After your request is processed, you will receive an e-mail with your schedule and any further instructions.

If using the History classroom for the first time, after you receive notice of your schedule via e-mail, you must contact Susan Grumet in SBS-S303 (631-632-7480) with your SOLAR ID for an access code. You must have an SBU ID card and pin code to access this classroom.

If using the Humanities SINC site, you will need a proxy card. (These are ID cards or badges that can be used to get into the building after public access hours and during the weekend. They are marked with a 5-digit number.) If you do not already have a proxy card, you will need to obtain one. More information about obtaining a prox card can be accessed here.

Click here for a Microsoft Word file describing these procedures.

Note: If the History and Humanities sites are available during your times, they must be filled before scheduling the Social Science lab (SBSN-620) or any other computer classroom.

Click for a list of all available SINC Sites. These labs have public hours.
