Bio: Abhi Bikkani
Project Manager, Faculty Student Association
Abhi Bikkani is a Project Manager for the Faculty Student Association, a not-for-profit corporation that provides dining, retail and other auxiliary services at Stony Brook University. He came to Stony Brook in 2006 to pursue his undergraduate degree in Economics. He immediately became involved in various student organizations and committees on campus such as the Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Meal Plan Resolutions Committee and the Residence Hall Association (RHA). While completing his degree, Abhi worked as an Emergency Vehicle Operator, Treasurer of Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps (SBVAC), Chair of FSA Board sub-committees and conducted research at the Anesthesiology Department at Stony Brook Medical Center. After earning his Bachelor's degree, Abhi began work as a Project Manager to assist in the areas of accounting/finance, marketing, training, employee development and information technology.
Currently, Abhi is pursuing his Master's degree at Stony Brook University. Abhi is the recipient of the Outstanding Student Advocate Award from Stony Brook University's Undergraduate Student Government (USG), AmeriCorps Education Award, the first place winner of the Graduate Student of the Year Award and Outstanding Community Leader from Congressman Tim Bishop (NY).
