Provost’s Report:

Faculty awards as per written report.

1. Stony Brook Mentors of Intel Semi-Finalists (10% per written report)
2. Benefit for Stony Brook Student per written report
3. ABoR related statement from AACU
4. Winter session 2006 report – credit to J. Auner
5. Spring ’06 enrollment figures – SPD enrollment down due to “bulge of teachers” passing through.
6. combined degree programs
7. out of state enrollment report (attached separately to Provost’s Report)

President’s Report:

Budget encouraging because:

1. input from Campus President’s (good process)
2. emphases correct (more faculty utilities????)
3. problem – need $100 M. from legislature $80 M based on $500 tuition increase which won’t happen
