FALL 2012 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

August 27, Monday
Classes begin.

September 3, Monday
Labor Day - Classes are not in session.

September 11, Tuesday
Last day to drop a course without a “W” (withdrawal) being recorded.

October 26, Friday
Last day to withdraw from a course (a “W” will be recorded) or change courses to or from Pass/No Credit.

November 21 - 25, Wednesday - Sunday
Thanksgiving Break - Classes are not in session.

November 26, Monday
Classes resume.

December 7, Friday
Last day of classes. Last day to withdraw from the University.

December 11, Tuesday
Final examinations begin.

December 19, Wednesday
Final examinations end; fall semester ends.

Note: Students must be careful to avoid conflicts between their high school schedule and final examination schedule. Instructors are not obligated to give makeup examinations to students.
