a Stony Brook student, you will have the option to enrich your education

in an overseas location, while still earning credits toward your bachelor’s
degree at Stony Brook. Stony Brook sponsors study abroad programs in Argentina,
Czech Republic, China, England, France, Ghana, India, Italy, Japan, Jamaica,
Madagascar, Poland, Russia, Spain, Tanzania and the United Kingdom during
the academic year, summer and winter sessions.
Study Abroad programs cover an array of disciplines, ranging from the humanities to the social sciences, and beyond. Expand your academic and intellectual interests by spending a summer of study in Rome or Paris. You can participate in field research with some of our top professors. Take an academic safari to Tanzania or study the golden bamboo lemur in the Madagascar rainforest. The world can be your laboratory at Stony Brook!
We also sponsor exchange programs that allow our students to register directly for classes at universities in Australia, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Spain, and Sweden.
