If you’re an incoming freshman with an exceptional record of academic achievements in high school, you’ll be invited to join the University Scholars Program. And, when you accept this invitation, you’ll receive priority registration privileges, special academic advising, opportunities to participate in special symposia, trips, and other extracurricular activities, and placement in honors sections of first-year seminars.

Whether you live on campus or choose to commute, the University Scholars Program will provide you with a sense of community within a major research university. And, you’ll find it easy to get involved with activities outside of the classroom and explore the university with your fellow students.

Admission: All high-achieving freshman applicants are automatically considered for the University Scholars program.
