guidanceHigh Achieving Students: Stony Brook University offers many exciting and unique opportunities for your high achieving students. Freshman applicants must complete their application for admission to the University for the fall semester by December 1, and the Supplemental Application by December 31 to receive the fullest consideration for:

guidance2Notification of Admission Decisions: Early Action applicants are reviewed for admission to the University and notified by January 1. All other applicants are reviewed for admission to the University and notified beginning February 1, continuing on a rolling basis thereafter. Those who indicate on their Supplemental Application that they wish to be considered for admission to the Honors College, WISE, Scholars for Medicine and Honors Program in Computer Science, will be reviewed after a decision has been made to admit them to the University. Notification for Honors College, WISE, Scholars for Medicine and Honors Program in Computer Science begins mid-March and continues on a rolling basis thereafter.
