Meet Your Counselor

Valerie, a Long Island native, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stony Brook with a major in Psychology before earning her M.B.A. at Hofstra University. She began her admissions career recruiting for graduate programs and switched over to undergraduate admissions when she came to Stony Brook. She is part of Stony Brook’s Long Island recruitment team and is also responsible for the planning of on-campus recruitment events.
