Domestic Regular Admission: Students are advised to apply for fall admission and submit all supporting documentation by March 1, and for spring admission no later than November 1. Applications received after these dates will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
International Regular Admission: Early completion of the application is crucial. For the fall semester the deadline for completed international applications is March 1; for the spring semester, it is October 1.
Educational Opportunity Program: Stony Brook's Educational Opportunity Program/Advancement on Individual Merit (EOP/AIM) is for New York State residents who are economically and educationally disadvantaged. Students are advised to apply for fall admission by March 1; Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a space-available basis. Admission of transfer students for the spring semester is contingent upon the availability of funding; students are encouraged to apply no later than November 1.
