The performance area is used by many departments and organizations on campus. The theatre has provided performance space for Music Department chamber operas and student recitals; the Dance Department’s ballroom dancing events; performances of various campus a cappella groups; master classes; and ACH events such as Children’s Story Book Readings, a workshop by Career Center on "Prepping for a Career in the Arts," and performances of the Pocket Theatre (an undergraduate improve theatre group). The space is equipped with a Steinway grand piano, professional lighting (more details), and sound equipment including a CD, DVD-player, a 12-channel mixer, speakers, (see below for more details). Note on the use of the grand piano:

Use of the grand piano is limited to those who have a scheduled recital or performance in that space. Request for practicing on the grand piano must be made after the recital date has been reserved. Practice will be limited to when the building is open and hours of availability.
