The Undergraduate College of Leadership & Service

The College of Leadership & Service is housed in H-Quad. It encourages students to explore the meaning of community service and leadership — two keys to career success and life satisfaction. This is valuable for all students regardless of major or career goals.

Students from diverse backgrounds and interests learn to meet challenges that bring about personal and social change and take advantage of leadership opportunities and the development of leadership skills. Students learn about the work of business, government, and nonprofit organizations and participate in activities, such as group projects and individual internships, to gain professional experience and test career choices.

    Island Harvest Food Blitz Campaign
On Saturday, August 29 over 400 first year students in the Undergraduate College of Leadership and Service (LDS) participated in the Island Harvest Food Blitz Campaign. Island Harvest is a Long Island nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious and balanced meals for children in all communities. During the Island Harvest Food Blitz Campaign, LDS students were to package nonperishable food items for 1,300 underprivileged students in schools all across Long Island. We are proud to announce that in a few short hours LDS students packaged 2465 meals for students on Long Island! The LDS team would like to thank all of the LDS students who participated in the event and who donated school supplies to underprivileged students.
