The Undergraduate College of Information and Technology Studies
The
College of Information & Technology Studies is housed in Mendelsohn
Quad. It is designed for students interested in the growing areas of
technology development and information processing and management.
Students will be provided with opportunities to interact with the faculty and researchers behind some of the cutting-edge technologies being developed at Stony Brook. The College seeks to infuse students with a sense of wonder as they discover the power of information and technology and consider their own role in shaping the future. It provides an enriched first-year experience by creating a learning community focused on leadership, scholarship, integrity, and creativity.

It may be cold outside, but the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs is already turning their attention to the warm months of Summer Orientation 2008. The Summer 2008 Orientation Leader Application is now available via the Student Orientation and Family Programs website. Completed applications must be submitted by 5 pm on Monday, February 25th 2008.
The Undergraduate Colleges are seeking nominations of outstanding students to become a Information and Technology Studies Undergraduate College Fellow. This two semester sequence provides an opportunity for students to become peer mentors in their sophomore year and continue their involvement in Information and Technology Studies.
