Where is Kelly Quad?

Kelly Quad is located in Hamilton College on Kelly Drive just off of Circle Road.

If I am driving where should I park?

There is a large faculty staff parking lot (in red) just across the street form Kelly. We recommend that you park in that lot if you are driving.

How will my students and I get into the building?

If you will be teaching a class in Kelly Quad you and your students will need access via a “prox card” to enter the building.

• For Resident Students their “prox card” is also their ID card. Please send students to the quad office located in Hamilton College to have their card programmed for the appropriate class time.

• For Commuter Students they will need to go to the ID Card office located in the Administration building and state that they are taking a class in the Residence Halls and that they need to swap their ID for an ID that is also a “prox card”.

• Faculty and Staff may or may not have a “prox badge” that can let them into the building. If you have a “prox badge” for another building such as “Life Sciences” we can program your current card for both locations. If you do not have a “prox badge” you can go to the ID office and request one. Once you get the “prox badge” we can program it for you. (If you do not want to get a new card the Quad Office can lend you a temporary “prox card” that must be returned at the end of the semester.)

Audio Visual Needs

• Faculty who are teaching the standard “What it means to be Human” HDV 102 will have a TV/VCR/DVD setup for them in their classroom.

• If you are teaching a class with a different topic and need audio visual support you will have to make arrangements at least 48 hours before your class with the Quad Service Manager, Ginger Lynch at 631-632-6790.
-We can provide a TV/VCR/DVD for your classroom and or a LCD projector. We do not provide a laptop, you would have to use your own or borrow one from Educational Technologies located in Javits.
