The Humans Project

For this years HDV curriculum we would like students to explore What It Means to Be Human. The Human Development team would like to build on our students' orientation experience in an attempt to create a seamless curriculum that focuses on students exploring the depths of What it Means to Be Human through in-class discussions as well and personal reflection and exploration.

Based on the in-class discussion students will then be asked to identify a trait or characteristic describing, "What it Means to Be Human" and write a short essay (250 words) describing what is special about their selected trait. All Students will then share with their classmates a short 2-3 minute presentation detailing their selection.

Below you can find examples of video responses.
