Undergraduate College Commons Day is held on the third or fourth Wednesday of October.  Traditionally, this is a day when the author of the first-year reading visits our campus to meet with students and speak about his or her  work.

Events of the day typically include a lecture by the author, a live interview with our Dean of the School of Journalism, a luncheon with student winners of the Creative Expressions Contest, book signings by the author, and various other smaller events.
