You can't control time, but you can control yourself. This interactive workshop is for anyone who would like to feel more productive and less stressed. Through self-awareness and goal setting activities you can learn to:

  • Develop a Time Management Plan
  • Manage Your Priorities
  • Break Down the Barrier Between You and Your Goals
  • Manage Your Energy

Time management is not a talent, but a skill that takes practice. The skill of time management can help you be successful in college and beyond.

How to Get Your Professor to Give You an "A"
(false expectations, utilizing resources, etc.)

Often, students (especially first year students) do not know what to expect from their professors. They are often afraid to approach their professors during and/or after class and have false expectations regarding their course work. Students are often unaware of resources that are available on campus to help students be successful here at Stony Brook University. This workshop will address various ways in which you can have great academic success in a college setting.
