Learning Objectives:
To improve written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills (e.g. how to draft an email to professors; positive and negative body language)
To understand “listening” as a means of communication
To effectively utilize campus resources to improve communication skills (Writing Center, Career Center, and Residential Tutoring Centers)
To become more knowledgeable regarding technology-appropriate timing (when and when not to use a cell phone, iPod, etc.).
To take responsibility for their own communication skills and learn how they can have an impact on their college career.
