Honors College Alumni - 1999

Sean P. Connolly
Graduate Student (PhD candidate) - Hello to my Honors College friends new and old! After Stony Brook, I began graduate school at Cornell in Comparative Literature, where I am still currently enrolled. Right now I am pursuing my dissertation research in Paris within the Paris university system, trying to counterbalance the desire to explore this great city with the exigency to work!

Belvin Gong
Researcher - I have finished my studies at Cambridge (defending my PhD dissertation this December), and I am presently on my way towards landing a research job in the biotech/pharmacology industry. The highlights of my years since leaving Stony Brook include being immersed in the history and aura of studying at Cambridge while continue being able to mix science and athletics into my daily life (playing volleyball for Cambridge and in Yugoslavia was an eye-opener). That formula worked well when I was at Stony Brook, and it has served me well since then.
