Paul Simons Memorial Bicycle Path
Stony Brook University encourages the University community to bring and utilize a bicycle to navigate the campus. Our bicycle paths provide a scenic, environmentally friendly and convenient way to travel about campus. The University community can also utilize the various bike racks on campus free of charge. The Paul Simons Memorial Bicycle Path was built in memory of Paul Simons, a former Stony Brook student and avid cyclist. The six-mile long path is open to students, faculty, staff, and to the public. For a full list of bicycle racks, please visit our interactive map. For more information about biking on campus, please visit Transportation - Bicycling.
