Our SBU Green Map
The SBU Green Map was developed by the Office of Sustainability in 2009-10 and serves to communicate sustainability initiatives University-wide. The Map allows viewers to navigate initiatives by selecting a sustainable topic, category and/or location at the University. Once an initiative is selected, additional information on that initiative is displayed. The Map itself was developed with the assistance of the Sustainability Task Force, which is a group of students, faculty, staff and affiliates that meet monthly throughout the academic year to discuss sustainability at Stony Brook University. The Task Force serves to unite the Universities sustainability initiatives, communicate best practices and allow for attendees to learn of University-wide initiatives.
