    • International Academic Programs at Stony Brook University
    An international academic experience is now a necessity for students who want to remain competitive for employment or professional/graduate study. The Office of International Academic Programs (IAP) provides a variety of exciting opportunities for students seeking to enhance their undergraduate experience. These programs are divided into two categories:


    Study Abroad/Short-Term Programs

    • All instruction in English
    • Faculty-led group experience
    • Typically scheduled during Summer or Winter sessions

    International Exchange/Long-Term Programs

    • Student may take courses in English
    • Direct enrollment at one of Stony Brook University’s partner universities
    • One semester or an academic year
