Program Description: Erasmus University Rotterdam is a research university, driven by a strong focus on current social issues. The university concentrates its expertise on issues of management, organisation and policy in the public and private sectors on the one hand, as well as on the field of sickness and health care. Erasmus University Rotterdam generates knowledge from research to share with the community. Its driving forces are academic curiosity, critical reflection and social engagement.

Program Costs:

  • $200 Administrative fee (non-refundable)
  • $750 Program fee per semester
  • $2,785 SUNY Undergraduate Tuition per semester for NY residents, $8,095 per semester for non-residents
  • $97/month (approximately): International Health Insurance must be purchased through Stony Brook University
  • $7,185 (approximately): Students pay room, board, books, transportation, and other university fees directly to overseas university
  • $2,000 (approximately): Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs

* Housing arrangements are coordinated directly with the partner university. Cost will vary depending on accommodation types and personal preference.

* Cost Comparison: The average cost for a full time Stony Brook Student including tuition, insurance, housing, and meal plan is approximately $10,445 in-state and $15,735 out-of-state.

Eligibility:

  • IAPS may take the opportunity to interview candidates to determine their qualifications for participating and representing Stony Brook University abroad.
  • GPA 3.0

Application Deadline:

  • March 1 for Fall/Academic Year admission.
  • October 1 for Spring admission.
