Program Description: Deakin is one of Australia's largest Universities. Deakin is divided into five campuses, three of which are located in metropolitan Melbourne. Students enroll in regular university courses and study alongside Australian students. ANU is both a teaching institution and a center for original research in the humanities, the natural, physical, & social sciences, and the creative arts. ANU is located in the heart of Canberra, a beautifully planned garden city surrounded by native bush land. Participants have the opportunity to enroll in regular university classes at ANU. Prior to departure, participants select three courses from those available to study abroad students at ANU. All instruction is by ANU faculty. Typically, fall semester runs from mid-July through early- December and spring from early-February through mid-July.
