Program Description: Deakin is one of Australia's largest Universities. Deakin is divided into five campuses, three of which are located in metropolitan Melbourne. Students enroll in regular university courses and study alongside Australian students. Fields of study include arts, business, economics, education, engineering, environmental studies, humanities, natural sciences, physical education, and social sciences.

  • $750 Program fee per semester
  • $2,785 SUNY Undergraduate Tuition per semester for NY residents, $8,095 per semester for non-residents
  • $97 per month mandatory International Health Insurance purchased through Stony Brook University
  • $7,250-$8,500 (approximately): Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university
  • $2,500-$3,000 (approximately): Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs

The Australian National University

Program Description: ANU is both a teaching institution and a center for original research in the humanities, the natural, physical, & social sciences, and the creative arts. ANU is located in the heart of Canberra, a beautifully planned garden city surrounded by native bush land. Participants have the opportunity to enroll in regular university classes at ANU. Prior to departure, participants select three courses from those available to study abroad students at ANU. All instruction is by ANU faculty. Typically, fall semester runs from mid-July through early- December and spring from early-February through mid-July.

Program Description: Bond University is located on Australia’s famous Gold Coast 50 miles south of Brisbane. The study facilities are world-class, incorporating high-tech lecture theatres, the latest broadband and Wi-Fi computer connections, and libraries that are ranked among Australia’s best. Bond University has a distinctly global perspective, aspiring to a 50:50 ratio of Australian to international students. International students come from 80 countries, evenly weighted so that no nationality dominates.
