Program Description: Deakin is one of Australia's largest Universities. Deakin is divided into five campuses, three of which are located in metropolitan Melbourne. Students enroll in regular university courses and study alongside Australian students. Fields of study include arts, business, economics, education, engineering, environmental studies, humanities, natural sciences, physical education, and social sciences.
Program Description: The University of Queensland is one
of Australia's largest and most prestigious universities. It is an ideal place to
study, with excellent teaching, research, cultural, and sporting facilities. It
also has an ideal location and climate! Brisbane is a vibrant, modern city of approximately
1.5 million people. An hour from Brisbane, you will find Australia's famous Gold
Coast, a beach city that accommodates visitors all year around due to its warm climate
and beach setting. Fields of study at UQ include Aboriginal and Australian studies,
agriculture, anthropology, archaeology, architecture, art history, business, communication
and cultural studies, computer science, criminal justice, development studies, drama,
economics, education, engineering, English, environmental science, health, history,
hospitality and tourism management, information technology, journalism, languages,
law, linguistics, marine sciences, marketing, math, music, natural and physical

sociology, and women's studies. The University of Queensland is a member of the

Program Description: ANU is both a teaching institution
and a center for original research in the humanities, the natural, physical, &
social sciences, and the creative arts. ANU is located in the heart of Canberra,
a beautifully planned garden city surrounded by native bush land. Participants have
the opportunity to enroll in regular university classes at ANU. Prior to departure,
participants select three courses from those available to study abroad students
at ANU. All instruction is by ANU faculty. Typically, fall semester runs from mid-July
through early- December and spring from early-February through mid-July.
Program Description: Bond University is located on Australia’s
famous Gold Coast 50 miles south of Brisbane. The study facilities are world-class,
incorporating high-tech lecture theatres, the latest broadband and Wi-Fi computer
connections, and libraries that are ranked among Australia’s best. Bond University
has a distinctly global perspective, aspiring to a 50:50 ratio of Australian to
international students. International students come from 80 countries, evenly weighted
so that no nationality dominates.
