New Student Orientation Webinars

Spring 2014

All new SPD graduate students are encouraged to join us for an interactive orientation webinar to find out:

  • How and when to enroll (and how to avoid enrollment blocks)
  • How to understand and keep track of your program requirements
  • How to receive academic advisement
  • How to access your email and Blackboard accounts
  • How to stay informed about important dates, happenings and everything else you need to know to stay on track
  • How to access campus research and technology resources (including free and discounted software)
  • And much more

How It Works

The webinar will take place via SB Connect, Stony Brook University's web conferencing platform. You will need access to a computer with the Adobe Flash plug-in installed, headphones or speakers, and a hard-wired internet connection. Full Details on Accessing the Webinar »
