The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Stony Brook University (formerly the Round Table) is open to all retired and semi-retired individuals who are interested in expanding their intellectual horizons in a university setting. Avenues for participation include: workshops, lectures, business meetings, committees, offices and social activities. The mostly peer-taught workshops, which carry no credits or prerequisites, are designed to offer an informal exchange of ideas between all participants within a framework of accomplishing the workshop objectives. Members are encouraged to participate at all levels in OLLI's various activities, and it is expected that benefits will accrue to a member in proportion to his/her participation. This program is administered by Stony Brook University's School of Professional Development.
