Thomas Donlon graduated from SUNY Albany in 1998, and achieved his Masters of Library Science from Queens College. He has worked for 12 years as the network and systems administrator at North Shore Public Library, and is currently the Head of Reference at Port Jefferson Free Library. He has been an instructor in Stony Brook's School of Professional Development since 2010.

Susan Gottesman

Susan Gottesman received her BFA from FIT and her Master of Library Science from Queens College. She received her Post Master's Certificate in Library Administration from C.W. Post/Long Island University in 2008. In addition to working as a Public Librarian for over 20 years, she has been an instructor at Stony Brook’s School of Professional Development since 2004.

Deborah Heinecke

Deborah Heinecke, MS

Deborah Heinecke received her bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College.  She obtained her master’s degree and administrative certification from CW Post. Further graduate work was completed in Organizational and Administrative Studies at New York University.  Her public school teaching career spanned 38 years in Sachem School District in both elementary and middle schools. 

Ros Mylroie

Roslyn Mylroie, MLS, Coordinator

Roslyn Mylroie received her bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and her Master of Library Science from Queens College. She received her teaching certification as a School Media Specialist from C.W. Post/Long Island University. In addition to working as a Middle School Librarian she has experience in the Public, University and Special Library sectors. She has been an instructor and coordinator at Stony Brook’s School of Professional Development since 1998.
