This class prepares students to take the CompTIA A+ Certification tests. Class size is limited so register early!

NCE 449.1 Comptia A+ Essentials 2009 (601)
This course will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ Essentials certification exam (2009 Objectives). Students will obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on personal computer hardware and operating systems. Course manual comes with CertBlaster exam prep software (download).

NCE 449.2 Comptia A+ Practical Application 2009 (602)

This course will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ Practical Application certification exam (2009 Objectives). Students will learn how to support PC hardware in a business setting, including installation, troubleshooting, component replacement, networking, and security. Students will also learn to manage the Windows operating system. The target student for this course is responsible for maintaining PCs in their workplace, and has already completed the CompTIA A+ Certification: Essentials course (or has equivalent experience). Course manual comes with CertBlaster exam prep software (download).
