Fingerprinting Verification Using LIVESCAN

Teacher certification candidates may obtain digital fingerprinting through LIVESCAN at locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Choose your location and carefully read, print and follow the directions contained in the corresponding document below. Each document contains a checklist that must be presented at the time of fingerprinting.

Things to Remember

Your fingerprint clearance and status may only be monitored through your TEACH account. If you have any questions about your status you must contact New York State directly at 518-473-2998 or OSPRA@mail.nysed.gov.

You must keep your username and password for the TEACH web site. You will be using the account you create on TEACH to apply for your certificate as well. Duplicate accounts will be rejected and will result in a delay of the processing of your license and/or employment.
