The Stony Brook $1,000 Short Fiction Prize

The 2013 Stony Brook $1,000 Short Fiction Prize has been awarded to Kaitlin Williams of the University of Michigan for her story, "My Deer."

Stories receiving 2013 Honorable Mentions were written by Melanie Dearman of University of California-Irvine for "Thief River Falls," Maxim Golubchik of the University of California-Irvine for "The Public Library," and Sarah Guinee of Normandale Community College for "48 Days."
