Application

  • Statement of Purpose - Acceptance to the program is based primarily on your promise and motivation as a playwright or filmmaker and less on your experience. Please provide a statement of purpose of up to three pages describing what you hope to accomplish in the program and what motivates you to apply. We are interested in your thoughts about how you will benefit from the experience of joining us and your insights into your own creative urges.
  • Transcript - All visiting students will need to supply transcripts.
  • Writing Sample - Secondary consideration will be given to your writing sample. Please submit three to five pages of creative writing in any genre, to give us a sense of your aesthetics and style. The sample should be double-spaced, in 12-point font with your name on each page. If you are already making films, you may opt to provide a link to your work on You Tube or elsewhere instead of a writing sample.
  • Application Forms – to access application form

Because enrollment in this program is limited and admission is on a rolling basis, applicants
are strongly advised to submit all application materials as soon as possible.
