Program Information

All fellows participate in weekly brown bag lunches, visit other's laboratories/research groups, and have the opportunity to participate in other workshops and events. In addition to learning research techniques and tools, all Simons Fellows will have the experience of writing a research abstract. Check out abstracts from last summer.

Resident/Commuter Options : Simons Fellows can either commute or reside on campus. Students who elect to reside on campus during the program will be responsible for paying a housing fee (~$1,000-1,800; varying options) and must sign a consent form agreeing to abide by housing staff rules. Students typically stay in a double room Sunday through Thursday nights in a university residence hall, supervised by live-in residence staff. Note: out of state students typically stay for the entire 7 weeks of the programs, weekends included. Roommates will be assigned.
