"The visualization cluster of New York Blue and visualization with VisIt"

For visualization of large data sets, a visualization cluster has been connected to New York Blue. The cluster runs VisIt visualization software. VisIt is a distributed, parallel, visualization tool for visualizing data defined on structured and unstructured meshes. VisIt's distributed architecture allows it to leverage both the compute power of alarge parallel computer and the graphics acceleration hardware of a local workstation. VisIt can be controlled by a Graphical User Interface (GUI) or through the Python scripting language. VisIt cababilities and its use on the New York Blue visualization cluster will be discussed.
