Winter Safety: A Message from the President
As the winter season begins, I ask all members of the campus community to take extra care while using our roads.
- Please take appropriate precautions in winter storms and when surfaces are slick with snow or ice.
- Early darkness and blinding sunlight pose particular challenges for motorists, who should reduce speed and increase vigilance.
- Be aware of the heavy pedestrian traffic on campus as you drive, and exercise caution near footpaths and crossings.
- New traffic patterns and signage may have altered your habitual routes; ensure that you pay full attention even on familiar journeys.
The safety of all in our community is our highest priority. I appeal to you to drive responsibly and mindfully in the coming months.
Shirley Strum Kenny
President
