Stony Brook Cares
The Stony Brook Cares Campaign is the University's annual fundraising drive that collects and distributes urgently needed contributions to hundreds of charitable organizations, giving vital aid and support to people in need.

Thanks to your prior generous support, Stony Brook Cares has achieved amazing results right here in our own community, across the nation, and around the world.

• Ambulances purchased by University Hospital Auxiliary
• Stony Brook Child Care Services provides a safe, nurturing environment for children of working parents
• Supporting victims of Hurricane Katrina
• A healthy start in life for babies and children
• Support services so seniors can live independently
• Nourishing meals were supplied to families in need (CARE)
• Conserving natural environments

This year's campaign runs through November 1 through December 31, 2009. Your donation goes directly to the charity of your choice.

The campaign is managed by SEFA/United Way.
