Camp Dates and Costs
Summer Camp at Stony Brook Southampton drop-off is at 8:30 am, and a supervised room is available beginning at 8:00 am daily for those needing early drop-off. Drop-off will be in front of the Gymnasium parking lot, located on Tuckahoe Road. Most parents provide their own child’s transportation; however, we offer designated van transportation from several different locations within the local area for an additional cost. Camp activities begin promptly at 9:00 am and run until 4:00 pm. There will be a $75 weekly charge for those requiring extended day care, which ends at 5:00 pm. During this daily extra hour, campers will play quiet games or some ball games within our gymnasium.
Each camper receives one free T-shirt. Campers are required to wear their camp shirt every day for
identification purposes. Parents are encouraged to purchase extra shirts, which are available at a nominal cost. Every day each camper must bring a water bottle that is clearly marked with the camper’s name.
We strongly discourage our campers from wearing jewelry or bringing valuable clothing or accessories
(video games, toys, etc.) to camp.

Discounts
• Sibling Discount: There will be a $50 discount given for each additional sibling registering for camp. Please fill out a separate form for each child.
• Faculty/Staff Discount: There will be a 10 percent discount on tuition for all children of Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Southampton employees.
Deposit/Application Fee
A $150 deposit plus a nonrefundable $75 application fee is required for each child. All balances must be paid in full prior to June 20, 2008. A weekly late fee of $10 is assessed if full balance is NOT paid by June 20. Deposits are nonrefundable after June 13, 2008. All cancellations must be received in writing. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Upon receipt of your application, you will be mailed a confirmation packet that will include your invoice and all necessary paperwork that needs to be filled out prior to your child’s attending camp.
Half-day programs are available for morning hours of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or afternoon hours of 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Absences for Medical Reasons
For absences exceeding five days, a 50 percent credit will be issued upon receipt of a doctor’s note. No makeup days or refunds will be issued for any missed absences to camp.
