Welcome to the Stony Brook Southampton Library's virtual presence! As you may know, the library will be physically relocated to a beautiful 'green' building in the near future (identified as No. 4 on the campus map - information on the completion of the new library will be posted here as soon as it becomes available). Until then, the library is located in the Fine Arts Building (No. 3 on the campus map), Room 151-152.

The reading room on the Stony Brook Southampton campus will maintain a collection of books and journals that support the Environmental Studies major and the courses taught on the Southampton campus. A computer cluster in the reading room will provide access to all Stony Brook Library Services and Collections.

Materials available in all the Stony Brook West Campus libraries can be found in the STARS catalog, and can be requested online for delivery to Southampton campus by students and faculty. Call Southampton Library at (631) 632-5004 for more information.

All Stony Brook campus electronic resources are available to SB Southampton faculty and students. Included are more than 30,000 web-accessible journals, hundreds of databases, and several collections of online books including reference material.

Library hours for the 2008 spring semester are as follows and are subject to change:

MONDAY - THURSDAY: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
FRIDAY: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY: Closed
