Welcome!
The library is located on the main floor of the beautiful 'green' building between Chancellors Hall and Atlantic Hall, and is identified as No. 4 on the campus map. In fact, we relocated as of August 2009 and are still unpacking and setting up shop -- come by and say 'Hello'. Because of the recent relocation, Library hours and operations will be gradually expanding throughout the beginning of the semester. Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All Stony Brook campus electronic resources are available to SB Southampton faculty and students. Included are more than 30,000 Web-accessible journals, hundreds of research databases, and several collections of online books including reference material.

Need a book, DVD or video from Stony Brook Southampton or Melville libraries? Use Inter-Campus Delivery! Southampton students, staff and faculty may request circulating items from the Stony Brook campus Main Library and branches for delivery to Stony Brook Southampton Library.

The reading room on the Stony Brook Southampton campus maintains a collection of books and journals that support the majors and courses taught on the Southampton campus, including Sustainable Design, Sustainability and Environmental Studies, Creative Writing, Marine Sciences, Green Business and more. A computer cluster in the reading room provides access to all Stony Brook Library Services and Collections.
Materials available in all the Stony Brook West Campus libraries can be found in the STARS catalog, and can be requested online for delivery to Southampton campus by students and faculty. Call Southampton Library at (631) 632-5004 for more information.
