Enjoy the advantages of living on campus in our newly renovated residence halls. Campus housing is available to all full-time students.

The residence halls - Southold Hall and Amagansett Hall - are suite style: 6 bedrooms, a living room and a large bathroom shared by no more than 9 residents. Every room is carpeted and equipped with air conditioning and furnished with an extra-long twin bed, desk, chair, dresser, and bookcase for each resident.

All rooms will have high-speed access to the Internet and cable television access. Both single and double rooms are available – be sure to tell us which you would prefer. All residence halls will have comfortable lounge and meeting space for formal programs and just hanging out with friends.

Living on campus puts you at the center of everything Stony Brook Southampton has to offer. Our residence halls are within easy walking distance to all classes, and the University bus system provides free service to Stony Brook University.

The residence life program will be supervised by a full-time, live-in professional who is available daily for guidance on academic and interpersonal issues. Along with student staff, the coordinator will offer social and educational programs, promote safety, and act as a resource for students.
