Alternatively, tickets may be purchased at the door on the evening of the performance. Should you have difficulty obtaining advance tickets, particularly on the actual day of the event you are interested in, please come to the theatre one half hour before curtain and you will be able purchase tickets there.
The 429-seat Avram Theater has been the site of leading artistic events since the 1980s, including dance and musical recitals, dramatic performances, operas, theater productions, and Pianofest, a series of concerts by internationally-acclaimed classical musicians.
The theater was substantially renovated beginning September 2007, a restoration made possible, in part, through a significant, multi-year gift by Dr. Morrell Avram and his wife, Maria, long-time patrons of the arts.
The Avram Theater is a key component in Stony Brook Southampton's vision of integrating the East End Arts community into the campus environment.
